LINES AND FORMS
Architecture relates to the physical world that we as humans have built and are very strongly connected to. Architecture connects us to our past, our present and gives us a sense of identity and place. It gives us roots to go back to and, to identify with. I enjoy observing architecture and how it interacts with the sky creating lines, forms and geometric patterns that are quite interesting.
My intention in this series is to take the architecture out of context in order to observe the structure through lines, texture, forms, patterns and color. I want my work to encourage people to closely look at the world around them and to discover beauty in the unusual.Through my close framing, I force the observer focus on the details without thinking about the architecture as a whole.
